Important Update for Our US Customers

Last day to order our Tote Bags in the US: April 20th

Due to new US import tariffs announced by Donald Trump, we’re making some temporary changes to how we ship to the United States. The situation is constantly evolving, but for now, please see below the latest information we are working from.

09/04/2025: As of May 2nd, the US government is introducing significant new tariffs on goods made in China, alongside the removal of the de minimis exemption—which previously allowed items under $800 to be shipped duty-free.

As a result, our wash bags and tote bags—which are made by our factory partner in Guangzhou, China—will become significantly more expensive for our customers in the US. To avoid unfair pricing for you, we’ll be pausing US sales of these products from April 21st onwards until we find a solution.

What about our other products?

Our other items are made in Turkey, where tariffs are currently at 10%. These are still available to US customers as normal and we will be updating our prices to include duties come May 2nd. That said, we’ll continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated if anything changes.

Why this matters to us

We spent months developing these bags with a leading ethical manufacturer in Guangzhou. Our factory partner is considered one of the best in the business—operating under five guiding pillars: Sustainability. Radical Transparency. Next-Gen Materials. Giving Back. Raising Consciousness. They also hold BSCI and SMETA certifications, ensuring responsible labour practices, environmental accountability, and transparent manufacturing.

We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together—and equally disappointed that these changes mean our US customers might miss out.

Here’s what you can do:

If you’re based in the US and would like to purchase a wash bag or tote at the current price, please place your order before midnight on April 20th.

After this date, we’ll pause US shipments of these items while we explore new options that are fair.

Thank you for your continued support—it really does mean everything to us.
